Chart 2, Level B

One step up in the chart! Damn, I'm good. Now that everything is over, I have booked the ticket to go back home, and I'm taking my friend Sri to show him Gran Canaria around. Also, it's time for looking for jobs, so I'm busy with that too.

Last week we went to Alton Towers and we really had a great time, after managing to get there in a 4 hours drive, which can be done in 1.5 hours. I need to get the pictures so I can have them on the web.

I will post soon, later.

Chart 2, Level B-

Well, another step up the chart. Did not post earlier because I have been busy with exams and all that. I was going to post yesterday, but all of a sudden, the lights and water went off for quite a long time, so I could not do shit!

Also, last Friday night I went with some friends, (thanks for inviting me, Sandro), to watch a punk/hardcore concert in a club here nearby, called 1 in 12 club. There were some other local bands, but the main event was Discharge, a punk/hardcore band with pacifist messages, such as nuclear dissarmament. They started out in the 80's, during the Thatcher era and the Cold War. Check them out at their MySpace. Here is a picture from the concert:

Discharge

The people were very nice to each other, despite of their lookings (tattoos, piercings, tomahawks and coloured hairstyles, leather clothes, ...). When they were moshing, they immediately helped out the ones who easily fell in the floor, so they wouldn´t get hurt. I have never seen that before in a punk concert. Really enjoyed myself, and ended the night playing some pool with the guys. Later!

My Songs

Ok, so, with all this guitar training going on, I thought might as well show some of the guitar riffs that I have composed myself. They have been recorded with my Horner (Les Paul shaped) guitar and with V-Amp Virtual Amplification, from Behringer. The software used was Audacity, a free open source program for editing and recording sound, highly recommended! So, here they are:

Obviously, there are more to come. Later!

Chart 2, Level C+

Actually, I got to this level a couple of weeks ago, but was feeling lazy about posting the update, :p. Anyway, I am working on the guitar workout everyday, but my mind is not in the guitar mood these days. I have an exam this Friday, maybe that is the main reason.

Last Saturday night, we spent almost two and a half hours, waiting for the boxing fight De La Hoya vs Mayweather. After all, it wasn't a great fight, and we were really upset about it.

Yesterday, my brother Ravi, my friend Sri and myself had a really great time during the workout. We did a lot of grappling, and I am sure we will be doing it again this week. To keep the fire alive, for both music and sports, here is a video of Sepultura, from their 1996 album "Roots". The track is called "Attitude", and it features one of the greatest UFC fighters of all times, Royce Gracie. Here it is:
