Ugly Kid Joe

This is 1992's album "America's Least Wanted", from former rock band Ugly Kid Joe. I used to listen this album when I went to High School in the bus, at 7am, along with Pantera's "Vulgar Display of Power". I just got hold of this album, now in my iPod, and I am just remembering the good ol' days, :P I remember going to a guy to whom I never talked to, and asked him if I could borrow the cd so I could record it in a cassette. Craaazy!! My favourite tracks are "Neighbour", with its sarcastic humour about the neighbour you never wanna get; "Goddamn Devil", spreading Satan's word among the living, hehe. Nothing to do with Slayer and stuff like that. The harder and darker "So Damn Cool", and finally, Harry Chapin's "Cats In The Cradle" and the ballad "Mr Recordman", which is about making it in the music industry.

It is very simple, straighforward and catchy. The lyrics are about the teenagers and lifestyle from that time, in California, but here it became very popular cause it was the rising of heavy metal, with Metallica and Guns N Roses, and the rest just followed. They disbanded in 1997.
