Carcass

I got hold of the discography of Carcass, a grindcore, death and melodic metal band from the 90's whose members are from Liverpool. They have reunited recently and they are touring again, including some big festivals as Wacken or similar ones. Band members are:

Jeff Walker - Voz/Bajo (Brujería, Blackstar, ex-Electro Hippies)
Bill Steer - Guitar/Voz (ex-Napalm Death, Firebird)
Michael Amott - Guitar (1990-1993, 2008-) (Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars, Candlemass, Armageddon, Carnage)
Ken Owen - Drums (Blackstar)

To my memories came the song "Keep On Rotting In The Free World" from their 1995 album "Swansong", or their song "Emotional Flatline" from "Wake Up And Smell The Carcass" (1996). So, here is the promotional video for "Keep On Rotting In The Free World", another representative from the metal status of the 90's (good memories and feelings come back):

Metallica's new album

Death Magnetic is coming out the 12th of this month. Listening to some of the tracks gives me an impression of a mixture of "And Justice For All..." with some "Load" and "Reload" stuff, but we will have to wait until the release. I think I will need to listen to it quite a few times before I get used to it. Basically what happened to me with "St Anger", but no way is comparable to the almighty Metallica from the good old days! Check out for more details in their official website.

Slipknot new album

After four years, Slipknot are coming up with a new album on the 20th of August 2008, named "All Hope Is Gone", being launched under Roadrunner Records and recorded in their hometown Iowa. Here is what you can expect from this album:

Skateboarding & Punk Rock

Today, I would like to introduce Mike Vallely, aka Mike V, pro skater for almost 20 years now, and lead singer of punk hardcore band Revolution Mother. Since my friend Maxi gave a board for Christmas present, I have tried to practice every now and then, but still can't get the f**king ollie, damn! So, searching around, I found some videos of this wicked and passionate skater, who gives it all every time and he does it for the drive of passion (reminds me of my brother Ravi). Anyway, I have put a video at the beginning to prove this, so you can check it out by yourselves.

Cavalera Conspiracy

Cavalera Conspiracy is a groove/thrash/death metal band formed by brothers Cavalera, Max on vocals and rythm guitar (Soulfly) and Igor on drums (ex-Sepultura), along with members Marc Rizzo on the lead guitar (Soulfly) and bass player Joe Duplantier (Gojira). Their debut album "Inflikted" has been released by Roadrunner Records on March 24th 2008. Co-produced by Logan Mader and album artwork created by Igor and friends from Surface 2 Air, who have also directed their first single video, "Sanctuary", which you can watch now!!



Still haven't heard the album yet, cause I thought it might be another obsolete thrash album, but will have a go :P Especially recommended for old Sepultura fans.
